Arrested for suspicion of an offence, being released without charge is a very common outcome. No apology was necessary, when I was arrested and subsequently released a few years ago, I didn't get an apology from Essex Police.

Within the law, just like you are allowed to do most things.

Suspicion of committing an offence is probably the most common reason given for arrests. The Police were right to do so and I fully support their actions.

From the Home Office, the Home Secretary made it very clear what this law would be used for. Long overdue and I fully support its use.

It needs to act like proper police and uphold the law, not woke social workers.

I doubt it, those arrested were released. That wouldn't have happened in China or Russia.

A job well done by the Police and I fully support their actions.

Such people are everywhere, one could be someone you consider a friend without even realising.

I am and I did.

Why apologise, thats stupid.

Exactly as ordinary hardworking people wanted to prevent them being held to ransom by selfish entitled protestors.

Agreed.

Preferable to a socialist one.

If you are arrested for suspicion of committing an offence and subsequently released without charge, it's not wrongful arrest.

I like it, a lot !
1
It's long overdue and is just whats needed to prevent a few selfish protestors inconveniencing ordinary people.
1
They should stop apologising. It was a job well done.

Great, I really hate socialism.

Great Policing, a job very well done.
