  1. I love E types, particularly the series 1 cars which are so iconic but now so expensive for a good one. The current Jaguar F type is the modern reincarnation particularly the V6 which is glorious. If you are on a modest budget and are looking for a modern classic an early BMW Z4 3.0 with a manual gearbox is worth considering. They even made it as a coupe for a few years.

  2. Just lovely but so expensive now for a really good one which this is. I can remember a time when they were very unloved and very cheap, those days are now long gone. Primrose yellow suits the car and was quite popular.
