  2. Highly unlikely as life expectancy isn't really increasing. If you have a decent company or private pension you can retire in your late 50"s. I retired at 50, because I always planned too and that was when my employers pension was paid from.

  10. The people that don't need protecting support those that do. The top 10% of tax payers pay @ one third of all income tax. You may not like them but you desperately need them otherwise there is no welfare state.
