  1. As a retired City Bank Manager, I can with absolute certainly tell you that just because a person has a highly paid job which involves responsibility for managing huge company budgets, it's no guarantee that they can mange their own finances.

  3. Whatever people earn they very quickly live to their income and many beyond particularly if they get a large annual bonus. This is based my many years as City Bank Manager with a portfolio of high net worth individuals. Once early on in my career my boss was asked why one of his customer spent so much and his reply to the Head of Credit was " I don't think he shops at Sainsbury's" !

  7. Just imagine if MP's received only the average wage for a UK worker ? Only those who were already wealthy and had outside incomes could afford to be one.
