The financial markets had no confidence in her economic policies, so it was game over. The markets are far more powerful than the UK.

Why would anyone vote for a party whose leader is a multi millionaire property developer and financier (thats a money lender ). He has made his fortune by exploiting ordinary people just like you. You didn't know ?
1
As they will, the markets like them and importantly have confidence in their economic strategy.
1
Not for 12 months, surely you know this ?
1
When have the electorate ever voted for a PM, simple answer, never. We vote for the person who represents our Party of choice in our own constituency. The party and or its membership chooses the leader. Now you know !

@maccagrabme Reduction in Stamp Duty in the Autumn statement, thats saving me £2500.
1
The financial markets like both Sunak and Hunt, which is pricisely why they will both remain.
1
Rightly so, thats why the markets like them which is very good for the UK.
1
Stalin had nearly a millionaire of his own citizens executed. You know nothing, grow up.
1
Why would a Labour sup porter now want to vote for a party whose leader is a multi millionaire property developer and financier, a man who has made his fortune exploiting ordinary people just like you for personal gain ? Oh, you didn't know !
1
Do you like voting for a party whose leader is multi millionaire property developer and financier ? He made his money exploiting ordinary people just like you ! You didn't know ?
1
You like a party lead by a multi millionaire property developer and financier (that's money lender). He exploits ordinary people just like you.
1
A new PM is exempt from letters of No Confidence for 12 months and all ministerial appointments are made by the PM. Don't you know anything ? Truss was ousted by pressure from the Chairman of the 1922 Committee.
1
What an immature, ill informed muppet you are. Non Doms are great for our economy, look at how much money Roman Obramovich spent during his time here !
1
@rockerjim8045 Its never by the electorate, always by the party and or its membership, irrespective of which party. You also only ever get to vote for whoever represents your chosen party in your individual constituency. Only the media likes to dumb it down so thick people think it's a contest between leaders.
1
I voted for the Conservative candidate in my constituency. I voted for a Conservative Government, which we have. Did you do something different in Toy Town ?
1
Did you vote for Boris ? I voted for the Conservative candidate that stood in my constituency. Only the media likes to make it a contest between individual leaders, its how they get thick people to engage.
1
Thats not what the financial markets think which is all that matters. You are irrelevant.
1
They have restored the confidence of the financial markets, which are far more powerful than our Government.
1
The Governor of the Bank of England only earns @ £600,000, it's a huge step backwards. The CEO of J P Morgan gets US$34m, thats a proper job.
1
Lots better, if you look at all the financial markets which whether you realise it or not have an important effect on our daily lives.
1
Its not as socialist as the alternative though.
1
Do you understand how our electoral system works ? We elect a Party, not a PM.
1
A new PM can't be subject to No Confidence Letters for 12 months. Truss was forced out by the 1922 Committee, no the same thing.
1
They do have a leader whose a multi millionaire property developer and financier ( money lender). A man who has made a fortune exploiting ordinary people for personal gain. So, yes a great start !
1
Thats so funny !
1
Only if they want one, not because they need one thats the difference between Conservative and Labour MP's.

Starmer is as welcome as the pox.

Hope is the last resort of the desperate. They are both here to stay until at least May 2024.
