These words must be back up by decisive action, the time to placate has passed. We need to hear that arrests have been made and people charged with offences. Social distancing laws are in place for a reason as are those restricting gatherings to a maximum of 6 people. Covid 19 is a silent killer and it doesn't care what race you are. You can't choose to only abide by those laws you agree with, it's not the pix and mix sweet counter at Woolworths. There are even idiots who believe that Covid 19 doesn't exist ! As someone in a high risk of infection category, I take this very seriously. I'm disgusted by the scenes of rioting, looting and attacks on our police who have a difficult enough job to do. As for those who deface War Memorials, they are scum and when caught should be named and shamed. Life isn't fair, there is injustice and inequality in every society, fortunately in ours you have the right to peacefully protest. It's easy to sit at home, taking the furlough money and finding fault with the way the Government is dealing with this situation. Finding a solution is far more difficult and few are willing to assume such a huge responsibility.
