  5. The protestors are the ones on the wrong side of the fence. At present they are tolerated, but this could change in an instance. The Police are doing exactly what they are sworn to do, uphold the law, irrespective of any personal feelings they may have.

  7. The police are employed by the state and sworn to uphold the law, not make personal judgements as to which laws they agree with and only uphold them. Those who attended the protests represent a tiny fraction of 1% of the population so clearly don't speak for the people. They just make a lot of noise.
