These guys are living proof of their philosophy. Both billionaires, working and in their 90's, inspirational.

Still a very good looking car today and every time I see one it brings a big smile to my face. They were plagued with unreliability when new and were also prone to catching fire. I still love them !

When you look after your car properly, it will usually look after you. The values of really nice SL55's are only going to go one way. Few things provide such pleasure for a whole year for so little money.

The 911 Turbo has always been the benchmark by which all other supercars are measured. All Porsche are clinical and very precise, that's the appeal, it's either something you like or don't. Being clinical is an unfair criticism, the same thing can be said of McLaren and that's also a great car. The Porsche is so good, you just don't realise it. Enjoyed the video, keep them coming.

Great view, I learned a lot. I have always liked BMW 6's M series engines, they do everything so well. My favourite era of supercars, modern ones leave me cold.

I owned one for several years in the mid 2000's, great little car, would happily have another to tuck away.

Interesting review, full of good advice.

I usually dislike non standard wheels but Alpina ones always improve the look of a BMW. Older convertibles in particular make noises, they are never perfect, you are either an old car person or not.

I like the 996 and the C2 would be my first choice, although as 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc car it has to be a convertible or the much rarer Targa which gives the best of all worlds. Im also a fan of the narrow body for the same reasons, more recent cars have grown too fat. Its worth remembering that there is now a price overlap between nice 996's and early 2004/5 997's which to some may be more appealing. Porsche quality is excellent and whilst the interior may look dated and a bit bland, that's its charm as are the distinctive headlamps. Another enjoyable and honest review, keep them coming. By the way your SL55 is exceptionally good.

The answer is simple, someone in the public spotlight who knew that by queuing they would be instantly recognised and would receive lots of free publicity. Anyone come to mind ?

What a great story teller he is. Really enjoyed the video.

Lovely.

As MP for South West Norfolk, she hardly likely to commute daily and expenses on a second home will in all probability be less than a decent London hotel.
2
Very down to earth and realistic.
2
Greatest bill of this parliament.
2
A very rich Hunt, because he's much more clever than you.
2
@ClownWorldYT No, Sunak will probably call an election for Jan 2025.
2
Best Bill of this Parliament, the sooner its law the better.
2
Very likely.
2
Lovely car, great colour combination, shame about the wheels and tyres.
2
Agreed and as a taxpayer you are a part owner of it, get ready to pay !

Just lovely but so expensive now for a really good one which this is. I can remember a time when they were very unloved and very cheap, those days are now long gone. Primrose yellow suits the car and was quite popular.

Do you know how many CCTV camera's there are capturing your every movement ?

Yes, I guessed the SL55 it was obvious. In view of the very low mileage and condition I agree with you, keep it. The colour combination is a nice bonus. The M3 is a much better car with the manual 6 speed gearbox. Have never liked the SMG. My golden rule for buying a modern classic is simple, buy the best car you can afford and if you can't afford a good one, don't. Another really interesting video, keep them coming.

The colour really suits the car and its so pretty.
1
Buy what you like, spend sensibly when necessary and enjoy your classic. If it increases in value that's a bonus.

As a weekend toy they are a non brainer. Great build quality.
1
Hopefully.

Were yours ?

Definitely one to keep. These come along so rarely. In 40+ years of car ownership I have only ever brought one car, that I will keep for ever and I love it.
1
Good car, poor build quality due to rubbish workers.

You earned every penny of your profit.
1
Why would she announce her policies before the election result is known ? Would you ?
1
You omitted Premier Division Footballers and their Managers, who make the others look like poor relations.

Google "The MP who lied in court" !
1
The Unions have backed it.
1
Do actually pay any tax ? Most low earners paying tax get more back in benefits !

Socialism is expensive. The bigger the state becomes the more it costs and the governments only source of income is taxation. If you want more hospitals, doctors and nurses and shorter waiting times these come at a cost.
1
With jam though, you however will just be plain ordinary burnt toast served cold.
1
Yet again I have learned something useful. The early S5 with the V8 is now a modern classic and really nice ones should become increasing desirable. It deserves a private reg.

If only the panoramic roof opened, or was removable giving a targa configuration the car would be so much nicer, as I dislike fabric roof convertibles however good. Otherwise its a great car that sounds epic and remains a very unusual sight on UK roads.

Always buy the very best car you can afford, its much cheaper in the long run. They make a great toy. Love my Bentley.
