  1. The deal was that fan films are not supposed to be run as businesses - and Axanar were running like a business - and now thanks to the Axanar producers, the courts and CBS have imposed a bunch of new rules on fan productions that have shut down any possibility of any full length stories any more. Someone always has to take it too far and ruin it for everyone else.
