  1. Yup, none of that safety and speed warning systems defaulting to on are Kia's fault - that's all mandated by the EU in 2024 - and in fact the new Aston Martin DB12 is exactly the same! They are apparently having discussions about making it impossible to turn them off for 2025, according to Harry from Harry's garage anyway.

  2.  @robertkisby3170  Yes, at least according to Harry from Harry's Garage it is now legally required to default to on - AND they are working through legislation to make it impossible to disable in the near future! Crazy f*ckers!
