emmanuel quiroz If you have access to the equipment it's worth getting an old panel from a wrecker and having a go at it - it's quite fun. I've had a mess around with a rotary buffer years ago and loved it, but quickly decided I suck at it (as I burned through the paint on the practice panel even with an experienced guy showing me!), so I wold leave it to an expert too - but now I've seen the new technology DA buffers and microfiber cutting pads, I'm keen to give them a go as they seem to almost eliminate the risk of stuffing things up. Unfortunately for a good one it's around $400, plus at least another couple of hundred for consumables - and my paint and the paint on my wife's car are pretty good at the moment, so I'll leave it until I feel one or other car needs some special attention.

Larry has a video on this channel detailing how to remove bird poop stains - but it's probably something you should practice before trying on your pride and joy as it's fairly advanced. Clay won't get rid of stains in the clear coat if that's what has happened, you will need to go to something more extreme, buffing as a minimum, worst case wet sanding. And yes, if you are claying and haven't done so in a while then it would be a good idea to do the whole car - generally you would only do one area if it had a specific problem like over-spray or some other kind of localised contamination and the rest of the paint was smooth.
