  2. Actually, as a 78 year old women, I was almost weepy watching her add during the Olympics. When I was a girl I loved sports, but, it wasn't feminine, so we didnt really get to play sports. I'm glad i lived long enough to see the joy of sports open to girls & women. We've come a long way

  8. I live in California, Trump came here, and pissed on us and our governor! Who were the 1st firefighters to our rescue? Not our red hat fellow citizens, they were clapping, laughing, politicizing, mocking! It was the Canadian firefighters that cared about us and are bravely helping the citizens of California.Thank you, I personally would feel great if California could be a Canadian Province 🫶

  14. I'm 80, this is something we've never seen before! However, our forefathers, grandparents, and parents saw things they could never have imagined. My dad fought in World war2, they relied on their leaders to get them through. We, are going to figure this out, just as George Washington, Abraham Lincolv, Roosevelt, John Kennedy to name a few. We just need to resist, stay focused, just like our forefathers did and hopefully great leaders will rise!

  15. Im 78 years old. When the Civil Rights Act was passed, a part of our country couldn't and wouldn't accept that folks should be their equals. They just feel like trump does, and he allows them to show their hatred and fear of progress! So far, we have been able to continue to be one nation. It would be nice , if we would live and let live!

We willingly pay higher taxes on many things, such as gas, so we have cleaner water, air etc! That's just our choice, spending on education, placing a great value on nutritional meals at school.. our standards and values are worth the Resistance. And, the right wing doesn't equate climate change to fires starting. They dont believe in science, California will eventually figure this out. We are very innovative here, and we're moving forward!

As a matter of fact, a major portion of Californias Federal tax dollars go to red states in the south, because they would collapse. Technically they are welfare states.
