  1. Agree. Also, doesn't reflect new research and the opinions/recommendations coming out of that. More understanding now of how social conditions/experience affect us. 'Working on yourself', 'managing your inner chimp' isn't healthy in too many circs. Changing society is more and more posited as the treatment. (And 'most people don't have a clue who they really are' is, IMHO, a serious blanket patronisation. 'Coping strategies' is a big red flag AFAIC.)
