Freud is indeed at the core of all this mayhem. His patients were mainly women who had been abused in all sorts of ways. Freud's advice was that it's all in their minds or they should feel honoured that some man was paying attention to them. This is obviously a very crass way of putting it. But essentially so. He also created a field in which many could make a lot of money for 3rd rate doctors. For decades there's been a huge and odious project to feminise men. Expecting them to respond well to treatments that most women accept because, let's face it, most women are too agreeable and compliant, is insanity.

The solution is not tablets and 'therapy'. The solution is a return to a way of life and systems that are people-friendly and respectful of human beings. That's not just my humble opinion, the British Psychological Society and many before have articulated this far better than I can here.
