Why is this clip being repeated? Is it to garner better comments than the previous one - which trashed the NHS Guy. (Wait for him to blame patients for causing the waiting list because they didn't come forward for treatment during the last 2 years. Obs they didn't - we were told NOT to , we were scared witless about bothering the overstretched NHS, we were just as scared of catching the lurgy if we went to a doctor's surgery or a&e.).

@julianshepherd2038 Watch the first clip. If it's not in this one then they have deliberately cut it out. If the first clip is gone then it indicates that the NHS has demanded that it be removed. You may find it funny and want to joke about this. But consider the implications of such censorship and occlusion of freedom of speech. Particularly as it concerns a public service which we taxpayers are paying for. I never make things up. For the past 28 years since I've been online, I've operated to the principle that anything I say or write in public can be held against me in a court of law. Therefore I say or write nothing that I cannot defend under oath in a court.

What's even more disreputable is that they took down the first version of this interview (where Mr Hobson blamed non-covid patients for not coming forward for treatment during lockdowns which he says has created the huge waiting list), edited it to take out the thorough drubbing he got from viewers for that dreadful comment and put it back up here as a 'new' clip.

@HampsteadOwl Well put. Thank you. Simon Stevens was de facto a politician, schooled in the US healthcare system before he came back here. We need leaders who can put the care back into healthcare and who are keenly and positively responsive to their paymasters, the citizens of the UK.

Yep. This is on the gvt. But the gvt and the NHS play a tag team thing. Gvt doesn't order them to sort out their eyewatering number of clinical mistakes if they'll keep shtum about the decreasing funding.
