  1. ​ @northnodeguidance4580  I was fortunate enough to attend an old school university. There our professors actively encouraged us to build our own set of principles from what they taught us about the many and various branches of philosophy. In the original, mediaeval universities one could only take a degree in philosophy ; now philosophy has been expurgated from the curriculum. Hence all the many varieties of co-equivalent 'truth' where once there was just The Truth based on observations of reality. It's an appalling, entirely divisive state of affairs. IMHO.
