Speaking as a woman of mature years (who actually likes men, real men who deserve plaudits for fulfilling and excelling in the roles biology conferred on them), I can say that misogyny has never been eradicated. It just went very covert for a few decades. I could write a book about all the ways in which women are discriminated against still. Thing is, there is little on the planet now that men (especially low-skilled and untalented men) can conquer and colonise, so these men are again trying to colonise womanhood - very overtly this time by 'becoming women' and redefining what a woman is, so that women can no longer be themselves with a distinct and irreplaceable role in the world. Men have always sought to define women. The tactics today are the same as ever : subdue and silence by legal force and/or brutal violence. Then rule by same. IMHO, what we're seeing in Bristol or wherever, is a 21st century version of the vicious and bloody protests and riots led by low-skilled, low-educated, cowardly men against women's rights and equality in the early 20th century. Thank you for speaking out against this latest manifestation of misogyny. You're men worthy of the designation!!

  2. Police don't generally like women. They're still in the olden times when it was ok for men to beat their wives, and rapists were never prosecuted.
