  1. Yes! My strategy would be exactly the same. Withdraw any taxpayer subsidies. Encourage them to raise fees. Watch them teach their twaddle to diminishing pools of rich kids.

  2. Solution: stick calmly to the basic principles of reason, freedom and tolerance. No sense in doubting oneself. Why even bother to engage with abusers?

  3. In what sense are we a minority? It appears to me that a) there are many more people in the West who are supportive of freedom of speech and democracy than otherwise and b) campus culture is another relatively small population of those who embrace a self-limiting, self-defeating movement which will run its silly course. Defund the participating universities. Simple. Encourage these universities to charge much higher tuition and boarding fees. See how many students can afford them... Carry on building proper seats of learning. Train people how to be effective parents who don't indulge their children's every whim.
