What a lovely young man, so articulate and measured. His mum has done very well and I hope he has a bright future.

Well said indeed.

The mother is a toxic enabler, living vicariously through her daughters.

Hard workers make their own luck.

I agree with you. I'm currently doing more research on this issue for a project I might get involved in. What you're saying is what all the non-sponsored practitioners are saying. And, in fact today I've just written a response to the project's initial, invitational report which includes "We need to eliminate the pervasive lack of kindness and compassion. What's needed in all our social systems is radical kindness."

This mother is the enabler and is living vicariously through these daughters. It's almost Munchausens. Very toxic.

These are adult women in their 20s, they're not teens.

I don't see any ugly people here... just lovely people wounded by a stupid, superficial, careless world.

Ah yes, the Meghan Markle club...

Offset by publicising this horror.

@RavusNox-z5i Very true. Though it seems quite a needless decline to me. Like our leaders lost hope (or maybe competence?) and decided on a managed decline. I don't believe it was inevitable.

Perhaps these taking heads could make a docu detailing the benefits of 'migration from the east' and in what ways this actually enhanced/s civilization? Serious comment, I'd genuinely like an examination of these hypotheses. All animals that have been domesticated and farm reared display the same loss of size, strength, brain capacity, health etc, as humans over the millennia. There is speculation that this process of degradation is speeding up.

@mm-es6yq Narcissists have learning disabilities. The only thing they're interested in learning is how to get far more than their share of attention and goodies.
2
@f.g.4904 The US really urgently needs to get to grips with its narcissistic culture and its wealth-is-everything culture. This one nation is wreaking the world by exporting their worst excesses.
2
@Boomslang1 YES!!

I can only think that the translation was flawed. 'Sedentary' has a very different meaning in English today. I think they meant 'settled'. There is absolutely no way that these neolithic people led sedentary lives! Living in settlements then would have necessitated a huge amount of hard physical work from dawn to dusk.

@RavusNox-z5i Oh NB! I very nearly did get into de-industrialisation and farming out our toxic emissions to less scrupulous climes! and globalisation - which has all but destroyed and certainly grossly destabalised normal productive community and family life in the west. Yet, 20 years ago we ordinary folk KNEW that these projects were so wrong. The flaws were obvious. We KNEW where they'd lead. If we started to build up our industries and focused on local food production right now we might stand a chance. But the Reset and all its impoverishing, democracy-destroying gimmicks will smash the UK.

So I'm not the only one to pick up on this propaganda. She actually said "migration from the east produced civilization [in europe]". Her silly and dangerous ideologically-driven implication was clear. The differences between then and now are massive and incomparable.

As an ordinary powerless westerner, I'm horrified at how global businesses relentlessly, heartlessly exploit the poorer communities and countries. May I suggest that it's not what Africans did, it's perhaps what could have been done to build strong, unified countries and to stop corruption?

LOL!

@jamesyates2331 Back then, the stress wasn't manufactured by big corps to enable them to make more profit out of the 99%.Back then the stress came direct from the environment and/or the clan on the other side of the river, you could deal with it directly. (see e.g. 'confusion marketing, confusion pricing' etc ad nauseum).

@Suzukisan The Andaman islanders are doing a good job of fending off 'civilization'. Good on them!

@joeking433 Lol! Easier and cheaper to take daily D3 +K2 (MK7 menaquinone) supplements! Especially as much of the northern hemisphere doesn't have enough sun for 7+ months of the year.

Academic superiority revealing its ugly, condescending nature.

There is a massive amount of money to be made from faux meat products. The market is potentially $trillions/yr

They would have had children's corpses everywhere if we are to believe this docu. I don't know any child who'd survive those 8-12ft leaps as depicted in their cartoons!
