  1. There is absolutely no 'extreme heat' here in the UK. In fact it's been the worst June weather I can remember. There's not even much warmth. Daily temps around 15-21C, overcast, raining etc. I'm still wearing spring/autumn clothes.

  2. Meanwhile, here in the UK it's summer - allegedly. It's been the worst June I can ever remember. Temps no higher than 22C, very cloudy, rainy. People are still wearing duvet coats in the streets! Some small areas have had a day of sunshine, not many though. I'm guessing that if you average out the world's temperatures they're no different from the past 20+ years of annual recordings. Stop all the panic headlines and self-flagellation.
