  1. They did exactly this to our brilliant little cottage hospital that had served the community so well for a century (no tales of bullying there.). They ran it down year after year. With only a bit of routine investment it would have served the community's needs for another 100 yrs. Now it means that folks have to drive 20miles to nearest A&E (so eco friendly - not!) - or we die/go without treatment because there are no ambulances for us out in the sticks. 120 years ago the 90k scattered rural community was saying the same so they paid for and built their own little hospital. now the NHS has destroyed it and we're back to Victorian deprivation.....

  3.  @grmo1875  I used to wonder why there were posters in A&E and in surgeries cautioning against bad behaviour/violence toward staff. That was before me and members of my family were treated in despicable, possibly criminal ways by rude and mendacious doctors. Who do they think they are?? This bad behaviour FROM STAFF is widespread.
