  2.  @thatwhitewolf5222  You may well be onto something there. It's perverse, but it often appears that the whole justice system is allergic to supporting the innocent and helpless victims. It is true though that offenders and suspects have legal protection whilst victims do not.

  3. I'm certain that I heard and read that the women who spoke to the Dispatches programme were not paid to do so. The women who've come forward to the Met police obviously aren't paid.

  4.  @a64738  Well, yes, it does tell us that the media is more effective at investigating past offences or possible offences, and also that women would rather speak with these investigators than the police.
