  1. I wholly agree with you. It's a problem of their own making - and likely to annoy and alienate paying customers. No honest person takes kindly to being suspected of theft. Yet another instance where technology doesn't live up to the fantasies of would-be users.

  2. Exactly this. They brought the problem on themselves and now expect customers to help solve it. But then I find all the supermarkets have got too big for their boots - it's as if they don't like customers now, like we're an inconvenience.
