Amazing how we humans have actually managed to survive the past 200,000 years being so terribly suppressed, painfully unable to be our true selves and live out our lives as the cute furry creature we really are. Personally, I'm thinking of transitioning to my true self as a well-loved and very coddled Old English Sheep Dog...I'm working through the sticking points: not being able to read and write, answer phones and emails, go out to work, balance my current account, etc. (But the pluses there are that I'll never have to pay bills ever again or clean the house, put the rubbish out, mow the grass. etc ...)

@batintheattic7293 You know, you may be onto something...I vaguely remember a very hirsute grandpa who loved chasing balls in the woods...I don't know about cabbages, but I did have a great-aunt called Lettice and a whole string of great-great-greats who seemed to think they were kings...apparently they got away with all the dressing up. When you think about it everyone's real character is buried by history unfortunately. ... the good news is that we're now reclaiming our hidden cosplay history!
