I am highly intelligent and have a few, but very good and close friends... I am also an introvert and being around lots of people is enervating instead of invigorating... I prefer the companionship of books to going to a party, etc. I also find that very few people share my interests and ideas as I'm not into the trivial and banal things of life and abhor "small talk"... I am married and have been for 35 years... My wife is the more sociable of us and accepts me for who I am... As I accept her and love her for who she is...
