Our Congress, Senate, and other Federal employees should be forced to go into the "wonderful single payer system" that they prescribe for the taxpayers... Did you know that they get "5 star" treatment by places Bethesda Naval Hospital ? I don't even see my state employees (Maryland) using Obamacare or sitting in the waiting room of the clinic that I go to... The genesis of this "premium" treatment was Woodrow Wilson and other fellow Progressives setting up the "premium" wages and benefits so that they could attract and retain the "best and brightest" technocrats to run our lives, since they "know better" !

Swishgod98, There was a movie titled : " The China Syndrome", starring Jack Lemon and Jane Fonda that was taken as the "truth" about nuclear power... Ever wonder why "stars" are viewed as "experts" and get to testify before Congress ? Also there was Three Mile Island where a small amount of cooling water leaked and people freaked out... Then, there was Chernobyl and Fukushima... Fukushima was the result of an earthquake, Chernobyl by Soviet incompetence... BTW, France has used nuclear power safely for the past few decades...

I read a statement by Os Guinness where he also has a "Trinity"... His version consists of : "Freedom requires Virtue", "Virtue requires Faith", and Faith requires Freedom" to describe the basis for America... And like Dennis Prager's "Trinity", removing any or all three parts, you don't have America...

Death Angel, Please re-read the story of the Rich Young Ruler... He told Jesus that he had kept all of the Law and wanted to become Jesus' disciple. Jesus then said that the ruler lacked one thing and that was to sell what he has and give to the poor and follow Him... But, the Rich Young Ruler loved his possessions more than he loved Jesus... Jesus wasn't literal when He said that to the ruler... He meant that the ownership of wealth, etc., should not come before loving and following Him... Also, Jesus said that if your right eye offends you, you should pluck it out... Or if your right hand or foot offends you that you should cut them off... Because it is better to enter Heaven maimed than to enter Hell with both eyes, hands, and feet... Again, Jesus is illustrating how evil sin is by using vivid imagery to make the point...

Another thing that the "mass transit" morons didn't think of is shopping and how to a week's ( or more ) worth of groceries, etc. home via bus... While I can load all of the same groceries in the trunk... The same goes for non-food items... Not everybody wants to buy groceries daily... Then, there are the people who work the "off-shifts", in particular 11-7 or 12-8... Bus stops are dangerous at night for anyone, especially women... But, their visions of a "livable, green, paradise" blinds them to such concerns...

I believe that what is happening today in America and the West are the beginning of a truly dark age where what was created during the Middle Ages and afterwards is now being destroyed through willful ignorance... Universities are now becoming an adult version of day care for infantile adults who shriek about "trigger words" and ideas that shake their little worlds... Science is twisted to serve agendas... And morals ? Virtue is mocked, faith is also mocked, and relativity rules... And everyone winders why culture is so rotted... This episode is a great tonic to the misunderstanding of the Middle Ages...

I've been reading all of the comments regarding the VA and its unforgivable treatment of veterans... And the top bureaucrats get "bonuses" on top of their obscene salaries, even as this goes on... Congress should be on this... But, it isn't... But, let's speak in stentorian tones on national holidays of how much "they" ( Congress ) cares... /sarcasm and retch and puke... Now, let's talk about Medicare, always a fun subject... My wife and I will turn 65 in 2018 and will be speaking with my doctor as to which insurer he accepts in a couple of months... Meanwhile, I recalled how Medicare had $175 BILLION to fund the Obamacare farce/fiasco... And it's scheduled to go broke around 2033, which is not that far off... And Congress won't do anything about it... Also, the "going broke" estimate was before the $175 BILLION "gift" to Obamacare... I'm on Social Security and don't get me started on that ! I am beyond cynicism and am totally disgusted with government, socialist or "democratic republic"... If everyone in the Federal government, from the President to the lowest ranked GS employee were to be in Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security... Things wouldn't be what they are... The same goes for state employees from the governor on down...

Better than you, And there is "white privilege" and "gender twisting" and mentally sick , if not evil, so-called "teachers" preying on the kids as well... Anything but tried and true, traditional education that results in future successes in college and career... My wife, who worked as a correctional nurse in the state prison, filled in for a school nurse and she wound up thinking how much the kids reminded her of the inmates she treated... And she let her "prison persona" come out... The kids were too afraid to try anything...

So much for the "education racket" that sucks up our taxes and doesn't educate anyone at all levels of schooling ( elementary, high school, college, and post-graduate )... These ungrateful and ignorant morons ( the 70% who wanted the name changed ) wouldn't even have the chance of attending college if it weren't for George Washington and our Founding Fathers... Also, colleges were begun in Europe in the 1200's... Where is the equivalent African development... And why aren't they concerned about the slavery practicioners of today (2018) like the MUSLIMS and their AFRICAN toadies ?

Baltimore City just had 5 homicides over this past weekend... Baltimore City has had 300+ homicides for 2015, 2016, 2017... All due to the "Ferguson Effect" and "Saint" Freddy Gray... And the antics of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and State's Attorney, Marylin Mosby... Mayor Rawlings-Blake invited the Bloods, Crips, and Black Gorilla Family gangs "to keep the peace" < sarcasm And the weather hasn't gotten warm yet...
