@soopergoof232 Now that's a can of worms, that you've opened. Are you saying that, when we stand on the surface of the Earth, that space is "raining down" upon our heads, and, simultaneously, that same "raining space" is accelerating (at 9.8ᵐ/ₛ²) towards the center of the Earth? If so, is space capable of performing a convergence? Is there such a thing as compacted space? Also, your "fluidic-viscous-resistance-of-space" notion would seem to ignore the results of the Michelson-Morley experiment. The M-M experiment was designed to attempt to detect the presence of an 'aether' or 'aether wind' in space. As far as I know, the M-M experiment, and all similar experiments since M-M, have come-up negative, meaning that we are not "dragging" through an aether as we move through space.
