  1. Here in the USA, way back around 1989, when I was taking my electrical degree, the worry, regarding the electrical grid, was that the cables that carry the electrical power were too thin to deal with the forecasted increase in demand for electricity.

  2.  @ronbelanger4113  Oh, there was a change. Back in 1989, the issue was a matter of current (excuse the pun) debate. Now, here in 2024, the issue has changed. Now, the issue has been completely forgotten.
