  1. I wish people would not come away with the impression that the electric motor, as a means for moving a vehicle, is a bad idea. To the contrary, electric motors perform much better than internal combustion engines, and can take much more MECHANICAL abuse than internal combustion engines OR mechanical transmissions. The issue, at present, is all about the substandard BATTERY situation. If we ever get to a day when the battery issues are completely sorted out, then EV cars should be perceived as a very dependable and reliable form of vehicle.

  2. If I remember correctly, HF (hydrofluoric) acid is famous for destroying your sensory nerves painlessly, before you even know that you have been exposed to HF.
