"All these well-educated folk went to "commie camp", also known as college. "
Back when I went to college, and came away with TWO degrees, you had to drive to a brick 'n' mortar building, on a college campus, in order to be taught college-level knowledge. Sure, TODAY you can just go to your wireless phone, or your laptop computer, and you have the totality of all college-knowledge at your fingertips. But not so very long ago, that wasn't an option. You "college bashers" can be really thoughtless and unappreciative, sometimes. You have no respect for the efforts that made your present-day wireless pushbutton world possible, nor any respect for the people WHO DID attend college (who made your wireless pushbutton world possible.)

@Americanmamaistired Here is an additional scenario, that I run into, that you never hear about. I will go to a job where the desired skill set, for the whole workplace location, is along the lines of Trade School employment. The moment I mention that I have been to college, and have 2 degrees, the whole place automatically assumes that, as a "college boy", I know nothing about how to screw-in a lightbulb, and that I am incapable of ever learning how to screw-in a lightbulb. it's a weird form of discrimination, and I think this discriminatory mode of thinking gets promoted by FOX News and Mike Rowe (the millionaire; of Dirty Jobs fame.)

@Americanmamaistired I'm not denying that what you are saying is often the case. What I am pointing out is that many people who already have a legitimate college degree (with a worthwhile major; obtained by legitimate means) are constantly being told, especially during FOX News broadcasts, that they are a useless idiot. People like myself are regularly being bashed, insulted, and shamed, for having gone to college, and for having come away with 2 degrees, and the "bashing" is often spewed during FOX News broadcasts. FOX "paints" with a broad brush. FOX News constantly hammers-out the message that...
• college is a poor value
• college is worthless
• college is useless
• the people who are a "product" of college are likewise worthless and useless
At least Elon Musk, when he derides those who hold a college degree, has the decency to only deride a college-degree Holder IF that person is incapable of demonstrating any useful mental acuity, or productive results.

@Americanmamaistired I am going to address your first sentence. You are absolutely right, in that managers who do not have a college degree do not want employees under them who do have a college degree. As a holder of 2 significant college degrees, I can tell you that it is a quiet Hell to work under such managers. I have worked under 3 such managers. They don't want employees in their department who will potentially advance past them. Now, keep in mind, there exist two major categories of college degree holder...
• those that are not savvy when it comes to working with industrial machines and industrial hand tools
• those that are extremely savvy when it comes to working with industrial machines and industrial hand tools
I am in the 2nd category. I am proficient in my college majors (computer science; mathematics; electronics/electrical engineering), but I am also proficient and experienced in a wide range of tasks that most people would associate with a Trade School education. When a guy like me gets assigned to work in a department that is managed by someone who does not hold a college degree, then a guy like me usually ends-up being professionally "suffocated" (like a man forcibly held underwater.) In one case, I was "two managers" deep in this situation, in that my immediate manager, along with HIS manager, did not hold a college degree, AND, both expressed a dim view of the value of a college degree. It is a lousy form of exploitation and discrimination to be "held down", relative to any possibility of career advancement within a company, just because you happen to be a college degree holder who works under two-layers-deep of non-degree managers. But it happens, just the same. And nobody talks about it.

@Americanmamaistired Permit me to add to your "calculus" (which describes the nature of Mean People), that, in our world, we have mean people who will willingly participate in a group, a group that routinely specializes in being the equivalent of a destructive tornado, a tornado that intentionally targets a specific individual (i.e. YOU.) But wait, there's more! Unlike a natural tornado, which "blows through", and doesn't return, the "group" tornado is different. The "group tornado", after "it" has destroyed you, and removed everything that you own, will target you repeatedly, by asking a tirade of insulting questions, which go something like...
"HEY! how 'cum we all got stuff, and you DON'T ?"
You see, the "group tornado", on the official level, pretends that they had nothing to do with taking away everything that you own, but unofficially, on the side, while smirking and grinning, know DARN WELL that they were the ones that deliberately targeted you, and removed all your stuff. As "mean people" go, it doesn't get much meaner than that. Stated in terms of your "disabled person with no legs", the "group tornado" will be the people who arranged for the legs to be removed, followed by insisting that the "no legs" lazy bum Get Up And Walk.
