The Goodyear blimp once flew directly over my house. The blimp was flying very low, following the path of the highway that went past my house. In fact, if you multiplied the above ground height of a telephone pole by 3, that represents the altitude of the blimp as it went over my house. At that altitude, the engines sounded like an extremely loud, flying lawnmower.

If you remember the tornado that struck Joplin MO, an airship could have delivered a fully functional portable HOSPITAL. The tornado destroyed the existing local hospitals, and, from reports, the roadways were really messed up, too.

When these large airships need to remain stationary, could large gyroscopes be implemented, onboard, for this purpose?

You're absolutely right. I think, however, in order to completely achieve the "flight" performance that they want, they really need to capture and reverse engineer a UFO. Doesn't have to be a fast UFO, but it does need to be able to hover, regardless of strong or gusty ground winds, while having some means of levitating heavy loads up into its cargo bay. ๐ธ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

After all that chinese-spy-balloons-over-the-western-states fiasco, all these airships should paint the large letters... D O N ' T ... S H O O T ...underneath.

"...because getting a cabin for two will cost you about $200,000." [OnlyFans girls]: Pf-fft! Make that before breakfast. Easy!

ย @B.Ies_T.Nduheyย Are you experiencing dissociative schizophrenia? How does 'done electrically' connect with a blimp flying over my house?

Did you see the widely panned Will Smith movie, The Wild Wild West ? In the movie, did you note all of the flaky ways they tried to achieve the capabilities of modern devices by using mini- Steam Engines and Hydraulics to animate every ridiculous device? Comparatively, that's what all of this airship stuff is going to look like (i.e. ridiculous), whereupon we finally learn how to make "airships" levitate by the same means that UFOs already do.
