  1. In Napoleon's time, neither side ever actually knew the WHERE DEPLOYED regarding their enemy's troops. Napoleon DID know the "lay" of the land. Napoleon COULD deliberately reduce the APPEARANCE of the number of his own troops, in a given region, as a way to "sucker" the enemy to stage attacks. Simply stated, Napoleon didn't have the benefit of overhead satellites.

  2. News networks, along with several YouTube channels, often depict the Russian territory, invaded-and-held by Ukraine, in BLUE. To me, the resulting map looks like Ukraine is creating lakes 🚤.

  3. Too bad we can't get a report on the status of Russia's nukes. Given time, the nukes eventually need maintenance and servicing. Also, how do we know if anybody is left, within the Russian military, who knows how to do the necessary maintenance and servicing? I mean, early on, didn't a lot of Russia's educated, smarter people skedaddle to other countries?
