If the cost of operating major businesses seriously came down, due to significantly lower federal taxes, can we also expect that such businesses would pass their tax savings on to the American consumer, in the form of seriously lower prices at the grocery store? I mean, I hope so, however, once a group of "like industry" businesses get an excuse (usually due to an interval of economic calamity) to set their prices high, they rarely "turn around" and set their prices low. That's the real pull-a-rabbit-🐰-out-of-a-hat trick.
