  1. When things get difficult, the FSB are the first to flee the area! Well, back in WW2, the German Uboats would throw the codebooks into the ocean, because the ink was water soluble. Too bad for the FSB, they are too far inland to find any ocean.

  3. I think one of the lasting, world-changing advents of this conflict will eventually be the worldwide use of explosive Sea and Air drones, of the sort that were developed by Ukraine. Imagine how different military conflicts, both in and near the Red Sea, would be if Ukrainian-style explosive Sea Drones were part of the equation.

Imagine how much farther ahead Russia would be if they, under Putin, would stop being what Ronald Reagan called the Evil Empire, and would start working with everybody, instead of trying to reclaim past glory by attempting to re-conquer lost states. I mean, in 50 to 100 years, outer space will be the new frontier, and all these empire-building terrestrial "land squabbles" will seem like embarrassing remnants of the past when compared to the opportunities that lie in outer space.
