  1. What we are seeing is that Russian propaganda, maintained and distributed by Russian media, is performing the same function as a retention wall. Many Russians could probably run across the border, in the vicinity of Kursk, over into Ukraine, and thereby, leave Russia, forever. BUT... because the Russian media has misinformed the Russian people, the Russian people are retained within Russia, with the same effectiveness as a solid, retention barrier wall.

  2. It's too bad the disaffected Russian citizens cannot evacuate, by way of some safe route, over into Ukraine. The evacuees would probably be treated very well. They would also require some sort of debriefing, once in Ukraine, that would reveal to them THE REAL news, instead of the Russian propaganda "news" that their brains have been endlessly exposed to.
