Many of the people in the News Media, reporting on developments in AI, don't "come off" sounding like intelligent news reporters. Instead, they come off sounding like SCREENPLAY WRITERS for some "junk science" movie produced by FilmRise. Their goal seems to "throw gasoline" on people's fears as to what dangers might result from the ongoing development of AI.

Saving important Science Research Data, or any academia-related Research Data (e.g. Math, Semiconductors, etc.), "out" on someone else's server immediately sounds imprudent. I mean, what's to keep an employee, working for the company that owns the server, from reading/filching your data? In my opinion, not much.

LLM is not Language Learning Model. LLM is Large Language Model. [...don't worry about it. Tech acronyms come-and-go faster than pizza delivery drivers. Wait 25 seconds, and nobody will remember that LLM was ever a tech term, at all. Take for example the term relational database. A few decades ago, it was a big deal. Now? Outside of myself, I don't think anybody even remembers the term.]
