  1.  @raspytv6684  Bananas! The UK had a deal with commonwealth countries like Belize to buy their bananas. The USA said it was unfair and the UK had to trade freely. USA took it to court via WTO rules and won. Now the UK and EU have to buy bananas from Latin American countries who sell bananas from companies owned by, guess what? US companies. So no, our ties and money do not lie with commonwealth countries now. Free Trade is far murkier than you thiml. Now the UK is alone it will have less power in negotiations.

  2. Hey, it's following the money. They have it and we need it. We've not had much luck with the USA in that regard of late.
