Corbyn was committed to spending 2% GDP on defence. I disagreed with a lot of his positions, yet he was for better pay and conditions for the Armed Forces. However, he is old news now. The worst cuts were under the Conservatives. Even now they can't be trusted, there probably will be more cuts in real terms. As for have more nuclear warheads they have not made to case for them. It seems very odd.

@aaronb2779 The thing is he had a party behind him who reigned in some of his wishes; he's anti-nuke yet said he'd keep them. He's old history, so it really doesn't matter. If you think the armed forces haven't been diminshed from 2010-now, and all through the Conservatives, I don''t know what to say.

@noralarsen7212 Well, you just have to look at the representatives in various Scanindavian parliaments to see how many socialists they have currently. That's the best rebuttal to your argument.

@jaccon6106 No. I'm someoone on the internet and cannot be relied upon. Go search for a list of governments of the UK. The Labour Party are the socialists. I read Nora Larsen's post and looked at the Scandanavian countries and their parliaments and easily found she was talking nonsense.
