This Defence Sec admitted that prorogation of Parliament was a political move to thwart democracy. Later he supported Turkey's attacks on the Syrian Democratic Forces, who have fought ISIS, with us, since day one. In January this Einstein acknowledged we might have to fight wars, in the future, without the help of the USA . At least he hasn't divulged UK State secrets like Williamson. I do wonder if we can trust him and his Govt commitments to the latest UK defence review. It gives me no joy to point any of this out. I support the UK military. I hope, but don't trust, the current Govt do too.

@1chish You can suspect what you like, Proving it could be more difficult. As for this govt keeping their promises - do you follow the news? More u turns I've never seen. If you know 'Boris' personally enough to use his first name, then you must be doing well just now. Good for you (if not the rest of us). There was no justification for proroguing parliament; that's what authoritarian regimes do and it was found to be illegal. The Referendum and the election were won by lies. Lies that have not served the govt, nor it's electors, very well.
