  7. nope, creativity required in the workforces doesn't just mean making something good and/or new, but the decision to finalize on one thing. take this AI for example, it gave you 10 variations, but not decide or advise you which one is the best and to your taste. i can't see an AI being capable enough to do so, at least in the foreseeable future.

  14. totally agree about tactile buttons and knobs on car's, umm, entertainment center? (idk what is it called) are safer in my experience because it'll vastly reduce the amount of time you took yours eyes off the road. sure, it'll be way way safer if driver don't operate it when the car is moving, but come on lol.

  18. if the M2 chip can be put into previous M1 chip, replacing only just the chip without any huge overhaul/redesign, i think your theory is true. maybe they're just testing the water for that decoy pricing for this kind of lineup if the change of chip doesn't cost that much. but i think they're aiming for people who really loves the MBP hardware too.

  26. you should talk about the software updates model of the smartphone world now. the thing about avoiding software update is because the programming could have an oversight of bad coding. heck sometimes it's not a bad code, but one feature intended for something else that somehow affected another unrelated feature. and then there's Apple's scandal of slowing down older phones on newer OS version. now i dont know that much about OS programming. but why can't we get a security update patch separately without the other OS updates?

  32. i think they're aiming for a small number of people who actually loves the MBP hardware, including the touchbar. plus it has fans which generally means a higher peak performance capability. plus it's a novel approach they've never done before iirc, so probably they're testing the water too for this kind of lineup. edit: plus, since the difference is only the chip, maybe it's not that expensive to put M2 into the previous MBP? im not sure about this, but if it's true, it justifies more what i said about they're testing it.

  45. does pixel 5 have slide down the fingerprint sensor to bring down the notification bar? i loved that feature on my s9+. i remember still having the reflex of doing that when i got my s10+, much more convenient than having to going back to the home screen and sliding down the screen.
