  6.  @ni9274  they're accepted, since waaaaay back. Boy George/Culture club sold 10's of millions of albums in the 80's, Elton John & Liberace were HUUUGE in the 70's. Bowie sold gobs of albums in the 70's, 80's 90's. Cindi Lauper, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Dead or Alive, WHAM!, Pet Shop Boys, Queen/Freddie Mercury, ALL sold a gazillion records and sold out arena's it was to STRAIGHT listeners. Sir Ian McKellen, Jodie Foster, Sara Gilbert and David Hyde Pierce were big-name actors and EVERYONE went to their movies. Billie Jean King and Martina Navratolova were queens of Tennis for how many years?? Straight people have always appreciated gay/queer talent, but what they DON'T appreciate is having it shoved down their throats for NO other fact other than that.
