  1. 20 years ago, I studied TKD. I often sparred with women, who were BLACK BELTS or 1 step down, that couldn't block a simple punch or kick. Their attacks were beyond weak. I studied for 2 years then dropped because I couldn't go another day bowing to them, showing respect when they didn't deserve it. Edit: I want to stress this was the female STUDENTS. The school was run by a man and his wife. I saw the wife go from 1st to 2nd to 3rd degree black belt and she was the REAL DEAL. Unfortunately, she was in the minority.
