Will ANYONE, regardless of employment, be eligible for M4A *Medicare*? I'm paying obscene amounts on health care insurance but I don't go to the doctor because I have a $3,000 deductible. I'd love to drop my expensive private insurance and get taxpayer funded healthcare. As a taxpayer, I'd like to get a little return on my mostly-wasted investment. Edit: I originally typed M4A but that's not what Bernie is fighting for. He's just trying to reduce the age requirement for Medicare. So please answer my question as it relates to Medicare at 55.

@CamMackay96 Medicare has age restrictions, so it's perfectly understandable to ask about income restrictions. Is this even a real response to my post???

@mookiestewart3776 I've updated my original question because Bernie isn't fighting for M4A, he's fighting for existing Medicare coverage for 55+
