Everything I've read for the past 20 years talks about how they REJECTED the paths taken by previous generations. They didn't want a career or a steady job or a house, they wanted the freedom to travel, to be mobile. They lived for the day never thinking of next week. There's a saying that covers this perfectly: reap what you sow.

@BudandBloomWithBlossom : you need some help with reading comprehension. when did I ever mention abroad? when did I mention a "yearly" time frame?

Krystall: how many homeless people do you have staying at your house? how much have you donated to your local church or food bank?

@theopkingdom3433 : I'm asking her because she has an international platform and chooses to use it to tell US how we "should" be living and what is moral and right. Why should the government be responsible for people's welfare when they don't work to secure it for themselves? I'm very happy you're supporting your extended family. It means my tax dollars won't be used.

Did the economy fail them or did they fail the economy?? They went into huge debt getting worthless degrees in womyn's studies, gender studies and history of anarchy. They're too busy dancing to Tik-Tok and burning shit down in riots, err protests while filming it all on an overpriced iPhone and uploading to FB/TY/Twitter. What they DIDN'T do is adhere to values that made every previous generation successful: work hard, live within your means, be generous when you can, save money, work harder and be humble. These kids think they have it tough? Try blazing a trail to the west, try fighting to free the slaves, try living through the depression or storming a beach on the coast of Normandy. Snowflake only begins to describe these puffballs.
