  48. Weed saps motivation. This might (or might not) be an issue at 30, 40 or 50+. This DEFINITELY is an issue for anyone UNDER 30 and TOTALLY DISASTROUS for anyone under 21. Use of weed in high school age kids prevents learning and impairs the ability to master critical life skills. I have personally witnessed 9th graders excess use of weed. It led to dropping out and made it nearly impossible to get/keep a job and to maintain relationships. 10 years later they snapped-out of the weed induced fog and realized they wrecked their life. It took many, many years to repair the damage and they lost out on so much good stuff life had to offer.
