  1.  @lorelrockley9789  : when the owner raised prices, a lot of people stopped going out to eat. when the owner cut staff, the service declined and so did the tip %.

  2. when the min wage went from $9.50 to $15, did all the people making $18 get a big raise? NO!! but all the prices for goods & services increased to cover the 58% increase in wage costs, so anyone making $15 - $30 before the change actually LOST between 10% - 50% of their purchasing power.
