@davidparker5068 It's true that Chrysler pronounced it wrong, but "Cordoba" was the name of the car those commercials were advertising, not the leather. (Punch line: "Corinthian leather", as advertised in the Cordoba spots, is completely meaningless. Those cars didn't even have full leather upholstery; at best the seats had leather facings with vinyl everything else.)

Five words: foil hologram comic book covers.

The Grey Ghost was originally so named for a collaborative marking effort with the Gotham City-based mystery man of the same name, but then it became unfashionable for costumed heroes to carry guns and he backed out at the last minute. Not a lot of people know that!

If you look at the markings, it's actually the Taurus The Judge. :)

The Ithaca Auto & Burglar, named after the two things you're intended to shoot with it. ... Wait, no.

@charlesharper2357 On the other hand, a 180-pound/82-kilogram man (the maximum weight of an Apollo-era astronaut) in one of the long-duration A7LB suits used in the later Apollo missions, with the PLSS pack, lunar visor, and everything, has an all-up mass of around 400 lb(m) (ca. 182 kg), or more than double his mass in a shirtsleeves environment on Earth. Apart from the fact that the A7-series suits significantly hampered any task involving the use of both hands at once (see: Al Shepard trying to play golf on Apollo 14), which would have made a rifle very difficult to fire in any sort of proper stance, I doubt our hypothetical astronaut would find the recoil from a Garand particularly inconvenient.
