  1.  @oldbatwit5102  Major Boothroyd ("the Armorer" in the movie, not the real-life letter writer) and Q were meant to be the same character, but the role became much more colorful when Desmond Llewelyn took it over in From Russia With Love.

  2. It's interesting that you didn't find much difference between the .32 and .380 versions. I've never handled a proper PPK, only the PPK/S version, but I know I've always found PP-style guns (PP, PPK/S, CZ 83, and so on) in .380 quite unpleasant. There's something really sharp and bitey about their recoil, and I would've expected the PPK's smaller grip to make it even worse.
