If you want to invest your money, that's great, but you should not go seeking some expert trader (mainly because few traders are actually experts). Instead, set up a semi managed account at whatever bank you currently use. Otherwise, pay a monkey to throw darts at a dartboard. It'd be just as likely to get success in the stock market as you would.

  2. They company is selling part of its business away for an injection of cash. The idea is that the injection of cash will be used to grow the business. It's better for me to own 50% of a $300 company than 100% of a $100 company.
