Caracals are slim build, it sounds like your uncle was overfeeding it....

I guess you never seen any designer cats breed...

Tigers bite force are almost twice that of lions, though..

@SubwayBrat -Males get right around 40 lbs on average, just slightly heavier than Maine Coon...
5
They were bigger on average than American black bears, and even certain subspecies of European brown bears, although they might have really been introduced from Europe, some say...
4
@SubwayBrat -Yeah, but caracals are really medium size cats...
4
@SubwayBrat -Yeah, that's true...
4
They're not saber teeth, they're the longest normal canine teeth for their size, but tigers got the longest teeth among felines, due to their size...

@ethanpeeler3147 -Animals weight range tends to vary greatly when they have large areas to roam... Like American black bears, which normally the wild adults weigh around 90 to 600 lbs.. While some individual black bears have even reach 1,000 plus, in their large American home range.... The Atlas bears had a smaller home range, so it's size range probably wouldn't have been as large, but probably having a heavier adult weight range... So, I'm guessing the that was a miss explanation on his part or he just did it on purpose, to get people to comment on it..

scarletgoat173 -How would it be a fake video? Is a video of the wildlife in Africa, as real as it gets....
3
@Findecommie -That's not true, most wildcats species are not easily tamed, not even if they're raised as kittens..
2
scarletgoat173 -Caracals aren't capable of taking down any dog, some dog breeds are too big and powerful for them...
2
scarletgoat173 -Dogs of the size of German Shepherds, and larger, would be too much for a caracal.... While wolves bigger than 80 lbs would mostly be safe from Eurasian lynxes, which males normally reach 60 lbs... With 88 lbs being a bit of an exaggeration for Eurasian lynxes, since only exceptionally large ones would reach that weight..
2
scarletgoat173 -Nah, I think the average size wild dingoes, dholes, coyotes, and African wild dogs are too powerful for a caracal..
2
scarletgoat173 -That would depend on the size of a lynx, and a wolf, if a wolf is anything from 68 lbs up, the lynx doesn't stand much of a chance to kill it.... It's like you mentioned painted dogs, but you don't seem to realize that males average 80 lbs, or slightly more, compare to 35 to 40 lbs male caracals..
2
scarletgoat173 -I seen a video recently, of 2 blackback jackals fighting with a caracal, for what appears to be a bat-eared fox, that the caracal seem to killed... So it's probably young jackals, the caracals prey upon, and not the adults..
2
scarletgoat173 -There are a lot of supposedly scientific sources, filled with lies, has why I prefer actual video evidence, like the video I told you I saw..

2
scarletgoat173 -You are exaggerating about the weight of lynxes.. Most lynxes species are in the 20 to 40 lbs weight range, except for the Eurasian lynxes... Plus show me video evidence of a lynx, supposedly killing an adult wolf....
2
scarletgoat173 -Note that the dead canine appears to be a bat-eared fox, and not a black-back jackal, here... -> https://youtu.be/haMaWVBLjzw?si=zKMwHTXHJtvYxCzj

@beastmaster0934 -No they're not..
1
@jonathanhuertas1977 -They're not, sarber tootheds lineage died off....
1
@minutemansam1214 -No, not the same length, tigers teeth are a bit longer..
1
Fun fact, people think of hippos as like fat people, but in reality, they are more like really heavily built bodybuilders, all muscle, with very little fat...
1
The largest none mixed with domestic, wild pigs are the Russian wild boars, that Siberian tigers hunt..
1
@Saurian25 -First of, a young adult male lion bite force was measured at 690 lbs, while the tigers bite force it's only a computerized estimate, and it's probably for average size tigers.... With the fact that a weight range of 170 to up to 700 lbs for tigers, ain't going to produce the same bite force, meaning that the largest of tigers are going have much stronger bite force..
1
@Saurian25 -You are in complete denial, with the fact that they have been plenty of wild male tigers that reach 700 lbs, with a few even larger.... And no tiger has gotten their bite force measure with a bite meter, that's just a computerized estimate.. While with tigers, and lions of the same size, the tigers are always going to have the much stronger bite force, and that's a simple fact...
1
@Saurian25 -Where is your source that says that is not a computerized estimate? And tigers obviously bite harder, and it's easily visible, based on the things that we see them biting on, in videos, and documentaries... Like harder body parts of animals, than what lions bite on.. Like piercing skull bites, and the spine severing bites, that tigers use on animals their size or slightly larger....
